Toyota is slowly trying to make its presence felt in the ultra-luxury segment. In Japan, it is working on luxurious vans like the Alphard and Vellfire. However, above them, we have another, the Century sedan, the brand’s flagship car. Now the Century lineup is going to be joined by an SUV sibling. We had covered this SUV earlier this month, and now new spy shots of this SUV have surfaced online. In today’s article, let’s talk about this Toyota Century SUV.

The spy shots give us a clear look at the overall silhouette of the SUV. At the front, we have an upright grille with a two-step LED headlamp design that is similar to the Century sedan. The bonnet is straight and should give it a commanding position from the driver’s seat. From the sides, the SUV gets a clean look with no cuts and creases. The Alloy wheel design looks premium. At the rear, we could see two square-shaped tail lamps.

Toyota Century SUV – What else do we know?

Toyota Century

As a product, the Toyota Century SUV will be positioned alongside the Century sedan. However, unlike the sedan, the SUV will be sold in global markets. Specification-wise, the Century SUV will get a monocoque architecture similar to the Grand Highlander. Dimension-wise, the Century SUV will be around 5,200mm in length, 2m in width, and the wheelbase will be similar to Grand Highlander. The Toyota Century SUV misses on the V12 engine like the Century sedan and rather comes with a petrol-hybrid powertrain. Toyota is expected to unveil the Century SUV in the upcoming few months.
