The SUV segment has quickly become one of the most fierce spots in the country. Buyers are ready to shell out for anything, and manufacturers have obliged to meet this demand. Now Hyundai has launched the Exter to take on the Tata Punch. There is another SUV which already competes with the Punch. But now it is going to get an update to take on the Punch. In today’s article, let’s talk about the Nissan Magnite 2023.

Design changes

Nissan Magnite 2023

The design of the Magnite is still quite contemporary, with a bold & aggressive demeanour. Still, as with a facelift, Nissan will need to give some minor tweaks to the design. Nissan could change the grille and front bumpers. Another thing could be new alloy wheels. At the rear, we could see a connected tail lamp design that seems to be the current trend.

Nissan Magnite 2023 – Specifications

The Magnite is a pretty solid car with its 4-star crash test rating, and we don’t think Nissan will tweak that in the facelift. Engine-wise, it will continue with the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol capable of producing 71bhp and 96Nm of torque. The 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine is capable of producing 99bhp & 160Nm of torque. Engine-wise, We don’t expect Nissan to tinker much on the Magnite facelift.

New features?

The Magnite shook the market with the number of features it offered at such an affordable price. Some of its standout features include a 360-degree camera, digital instrument cluster, wireless charging etc. Now in the facelift, Nissan could cover some shortcomings by offering an auto-dimming IRVM, 6-airbags, paddle shifters etc. Along with features, Nissan should also look to improve the quality of materials which is a weakness of the Magnite.

Nissan Magnite 2023 – Launch

Nissan Magnite 2023

Nissan is yet to state anything about the Magnite facelift launch. However, Magnite will be completing three years in the market, and most manufacturers update their cars in this time frame. So, we expect Nissan to update the Magnite by the end of this year or early next year. What about the price hike? The Magnite is known for its affordable pricing, and Nissan will have to balance that out in the facelift.
