Maruti is on the offensive in the Indian market. Since last year, it has updated almost all of its cars and has also launched new cars like the Grand Vitara and Fronx. Still, there are a lot of new products Maruti has in store in the upcoming months. In today’s article, let’s talk about the upcoming cars from Maruti in 2023-24.

Invicto

Maruti is often perceived as an affordable car market, and the brand wants to change that image. As with this image, it is not able to sell cars in the higher segment. So the brand is taking Toyota’s help by rebadging the Innova HyCross. Like other badge-engineered products, it will get a new grille and some minor tweaks in the interior. Specs-wise, it will come with the 2.0-litre strong hybrid petrol. What about features? We could see features like ADAS, digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof etc. Maruti has confirmed that it will launch the Invicto on 5th July 2023.

Upcoming Maruti cars 2023 – Swift

One of Maruti’s best sellers in India is also getting a major update. Maruti is already testing the new-gen Swift in Europe. From the spy shots, it seems to be getting a design overhaul with new curvy bits. It seems also to have grown in size. Interior are yet to be spotted, but we can expect major changes. Under the hood, we are going to see a major change with a strong hybrid setup. This strong hybrid setup can give it a claimed mileage of 40kmpl, which is mind-boggling. The new Swift is expected to hit the market sometime in 2024.

Dzire

Like the Swift, the Dzire is going to also get a generational update. We can expect design changes similar to the Swift. It could also get some specific changes to differentiate it from Swift. The interior could also get new upholstery and extra boot space. The strong hybrid setup will also make its way on the Dzire and could deliver a mileage over 30kmpl. What about the launch? The Dzire could be launched a few months after the new Swift.

Maruti showcased the eVX concept at the Auto Expo of 2023. The eVX is going to be Maruti’s first electric car in India. Also, Suzuki will be selling it in Europe, meaning this is a global car. Now talking about the eVX, the car is going to be 4300mm in length, pitting against the Creta, Seltos etc. The eVX will be based on a skateboard platform. Specification-wise, it will come with a 60kWh battery pack delivering an expected range of 550km. We could also see a rear-wheel and all-wheel-drive setup on the EVX. Maruti plans to launch the production version of the eVX by early 2025.
