Kia Seltos facelift teased ahead of its launch!
Kia Seltos is one car that took the market by storm. It was Kia’s first car in the country, and the brand hit a home run with the Seltos facelift. The Seltos even dethroned the segment leader Hyundai Creta for some time. Now Kia is bringing the facelift of the Seltos to take back the crown. Today Kia released the first teaser of the car revealing new things. In today’s article, let’s talk about the teased Kia Seltos.
Teased things
The teaser starts with the car being unlocked, and in this, we can see new camo green colour on the Seltos. Then we get a glimpse of the interior with the single-piece curved display lighting up. The Seltos now gets a new digital instrument cluster, which looks quite premium. We can also see ADAS graphics on the instrument cluster. Another spotted thing is dual-zone climate control. We also get to see the new DRL design and inverted L-shaped taillamps.
What else to expect?
The Seltos facelift has been in the news for some time now. It is expected to get new features like a panoramic sunroof, ADAS, ambient lighting, ventilated seats etc. What about the specifications? The Seltos facelift will continue with the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Additionally, the facelift will come with a new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine that made its debut on the Carens. This engine is capable of producing 158bhp and 253Nm of torque. Transmission options could include a manual and a DCT gearbox on this engine.

Kia has confirmed that it plans to launch the Seltos facelift on 4th July 2023. According to one of our readers, dealers have already started taking bookings for the Seltos facelift. What about the price hike? With the new design and features, we can expect a price hike of Rs 70k to 80k on the Seltos facelift.
