Kia Seltos mid-variants interior spotted!

Kia wants to tighten its grip on the Indian market. Last year, it launched the Carens. For this year, it is planning no new launches but rather updates to its existing cars like the Seltos and Sonet. The Seltos will be the first to get its update in the upcoming weeks. Now interior of the Seltos facelift, particularly of the mid-variants, has been spied on. In today’s article, let’s talk about the Kia Seltos mid variants.

HTK interior

In Kia’s lineup, HTK is the second to base model but still comes with a lot of features. In this spy shot, we can see the same three-spoke steering wheel. However, behind that, we have a new digital instrument cluster similar to the one offered on the Carens. Also, we have the 8-inch infotainment system with rectangular AC vents below them. Also, the HTK model misses out on automatic climate control and keyless entry. Kia has also added front parking sensors on the HTK variant.

The HTK+ variant gets all the above-mentioned features from the HTK model. Additionally, the HTK+ gets cruise control, push start-stop and automatic climate control. Still, this is not the dual-zone one spotted in the higher variants. Also, the HTK+ now gets a type-C charging port from the earlier type-A one. 

Specifications

In terms of specifications, we expect Kia to continue with the 1.5-litre petrol (113bhp & 144Nm) and 1.5-litre diesel engine (113bhp & 250Nm). Both these engines come with a plethora of transmission options. This facelift will come with the new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine (158bhp & 253Nm). This engine could come with a manual and DCT gearbox. 

Kia Seltos mid variants – Launch

Kia has confirmed that it plans to launch the Seltos facelift on 4th July 2023. Being a facelift, we don’t expect Kia to not keep the pricing in suspense and announce it on the 4th. What about the pricing? With the design change and added features, we expect a price bump of Rs 50k to 60k depending upon the variants.
