A lot of new car launches and unveils are taking place in the Indian car market. Still, June seemed like the calm before the storm as not much happened in it. But July promises to be a blockbuster with a lot of new cars coming in this month. In today’s article, let’s talk about all upcoming cars in July 2023. 

Kia Seltos facelift – 4th July

The first car to be launched this month is the much anticipated Seltos facelift. In the facelift, the Seltos gets a design refresh with a new grille and bumpers. Kia has also tweaked the tail lamp design in the facelift. In the interiors, Kia could change the dashboard upholstery and add new features like a panoramic sunroof, ADAS, an updated infotainment system etc. The facelift should also come with the new 1.5-litre turbo petrol that debuted on the Carens. 

Maruti Invicto – 5th July

Maruti is trying to improve its image from an affordable car maker to a premium brand. For this, it is taking Toyota’s help. First time in their partnership, Maruti is taking a car from Toyota. It is bringing the rebadged version of the Innova HyCross as Invicto. The Invicto gets a different grille, and some interior bits are changed compared to the Innova HyCross. In terms of specifications, the Invicto is only expected to come with 2.0-litre strong hybrid petrol paired with an eCVT gearbox.

Hyundai is going the other way around compared to Maruti. It is launching its smallest SUV to take on the Tata Punch. Hyundai has already unveiled and showcased the exterior and interior design of the Exter. In terms of features, it is confirmed to get a sunroof, 8.0-inch infotainment, voice commands, TPMS and ambient sounds of nature. The Exter comes with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with an optional CNG option too. Hyundai will launch the Exter on 10th July 2023.  

Audi Q8 e-Tron – 14th – 15th August

Audi is set to launch its most premium EV offering in India in the form of a Q8 e-Tron. The Q8 eTron is essentially the rebadged version of the Audi e-tron that was launched in 2021. Now Audi is relaunching the car in India, and it will come through the CBU route. Audi plans to launch the Q8 e-Tron in mid-August, sometime around the 14th or 15th of August. 

Triumph 400 Twins

Triumph recently unveiled two new 400cc bikes – Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X. Both the bikes come with a new 398.15 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. This engine is capable of producing 39.5bhp and 37.5Nm of torque. This engine will be paired with a 6-speed gearbox that comes with a slip-and-assist clutch mechanism. Triumph will announce the pricing of these bikes on 5th July 2023.

Harley is gearing up to launch its most affordable bike in India. The X440 is the product of Harley Davidsons and Hero Motocorp partnership. The X440, as the name suggests, is powered by a 440cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine. It should come with inverted forks at the front and twin shocks at the rear. Other things could include all-disc brakes, dual-channel ABS and 17-inch alloy wheels. The Harley X440 will be launched on 3rd July 2023.
