Upcoming Jeep electric cars leaked in dealer meeting!

Jeep India is facing a lot of difficulties in the Indian market. In the last few months, the brand is crippling with low sales numbers. Even its new launches like the Meridian and Grand Cherokee have failed to excite the Indian auidence. However, India continues to be an important market for the brand. Now at a global level dealers meet the brand’s future EVs have leaked. This dealer-level meeting was of the Stellantis group. In today’s article, let’s talk about the upcoming Jeep cars. 

What was leaked?

The photo leak was brought to notice by MotorTrend. This event was a dealer preview event hosted by the Stellantis group. First, let’s talk about the Jeep EVs showcased at the event. This was the first time the Recon and Wagoneer S EVs have been seen by anyone outside the Stellantis group. The Wagoneer S is similar in size to the Grand Cherokee launched in India. While the Recon is more of a Bronco-type-looking car. At the event, other Stellantis cars like the Dodge Challenger EV and RAM 1500 REV were also showcased. The Dodge Challenger EV looks especially interesting with its styling and EV bits. 

Upcoming Jeep cars – Will they come to India?

Now the question you will ask is, will they come to India? For now, Jeep doesn’t have any plans to bring EVs to India. But that could change in the upcoming years, as EVs become more mainstream in India. Jeep is expected to launch these EVs in Europe in the next two to three years. After that, we can hope that Jeep brings some of these EVs to India.
