Good news for Mahindra XUV700 buyers! 

Mahindra threw the kitchen sink at the mid-size SUV segment with the XUV700. The XUV700 has everything going for it with a muscular design, powerful design and segment-first features. Such was the craze that the XUV700 became the fastest car to reach 1 lakh bookings in India. Due to the chip shortage and supply constraints, the XUV700 had a long waiting period. However, things have started improving, and now the waiting period for the XUV700 has dropped further. In today’s article, let’s talk about the Mahindra XUV700 waiting period in 2023.  

Petrol waiting period

According to Rushlane, the waiting period for Petrol MX and AX3 variants has dropped from 6 months to 4 months. At the same time, the waiting for the AX5 variant has also dropped from two months to 8 months to 6 months. Coming to the AX7, the waiting period has dropped to 8 months from 11 months. The last and most sought-after variant, the AX7L, now has a waiting period of 9 months from the earlier 13 months. These figures are from June, but we think the waiting period currently would be more or less similar.

Mahindra XUV700 2023 – Diesel waiting period 

Like the MX and AX3 petrol, the diesel waiting period has dropped by three months for both variants. Now, the MX and AX3 have a waiting period of 4 months, respectively. The AX5 variant has seen its waiting period drop by two months from 8 months to 6 months. Also, the AX7 variant waiting period is now eight months, dropping by three months. What about the AX7L? The AX7L sees the biggest waiting period drop of four months. Now, the AX7L diesel has a waiting period of nine months.  

Mahindra XUV700 sales

Mahindra is slowly and steadily solving the supply constraints of the XUV700. In July 2023, Mahindra sold 6,176 units of the XUV700, seeing a Y-o-Y growth of 15%. Mahindra experienced a slight drop in M-o-M sales as it sold 6,277 units in June 2023.
