Pricing details

So Honda has just unveiled the car and it has stated that it plans to open the bookings in July this year. The brand hasn’t given a fixed launch date but has stated it to be just before the festive season. What about the pricing? So Honda will have to price the Elevate quite aggressively. The base model could be priced around the Rs 12 lakh mark (on-road, Mumbai). This is on par with other cars in this segment. The higher variants are where Honda needs to play sensibly. The Elevate lacks some features and also misses out on hybrid and diesel. So we think it could be priced around Rs 19 lakh to Rs 20 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

Honda Elevate price – Design

The Honda Elevate gets a design very similar to other global Honda SUVs. We have a boxy design with an upright grille in the front. Just above the grille, we have a chrome element separating the grille from the bonnet. We have sleek headlamps with DRLs above them. Honda has also given fog lamps. The side profile is clean, but it does resemble a lot of cars in its segment.

Specifications

The Elevate is based on the same platform as the City. So the Elevate also comes with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine capable of producing 119bhp and 145Nm of torque. Transmission options include a manual and CVT gearbox. Sadly, Elevate misses out on a hybrid option. Honda has stated that it plans to launch a fully electric version in the next three years.

Honda has also given it ADAS in the form of Honda Sensing. Other safety features include rear parking sensors, hill start assist, vehicle stability assist and rear parking sensors.
