Citroen C3 Aicross unveiled! Perfect Creta rival?
Citroen is establishing itself quite well in the Indian market. Since its entry in 2019, it has launched several new products including C3 and also the eC3. Now Citroen is targeting another unique segment with the C3 Aircross. The Citreon C3 Aircross will compete in the lucrative C-SUV segment but with a twist. Citroen is also offering a 7-seater layout in the C3 Aircross, which will be unique. In today’s article, let’s talk about the Citroen C3 Aircross 2023.
Design
The Citroen C3 Aircross comes with a unique design like other Citroen cars in the country. Length wise, it is 4.3meters long, which means it will be on par with the Creta. At the front, we have a twin DRL setup with headlamps in between. Then there is a twin chrome grille that integrates into the Citroen logo. Coming to the side, we can see quite a upright design. This design gives the C3 Aircross a proper SUV like vibe rather than a MPV. At the rear we have inverted C-shaped tail lamps.
Citroen C3 Aircross 2023 – Specifications
The Citroen C3 Aircross comes with a single petrol engine option. This engine is a 1.0-litre turbo petrol unit capable of producing 108bhp and 190Nm of torque. This same engine also powers the C3 hatchback. Transmission options include a manual only for now. Citroen is trying to source an automatic gearbox option on this engine.
Features
Citroen seems to have learned its lesson with the C3 hatchback. It has already improved the feature list of the C3 hatchback and the C3 Aircross gets the same treatment. Citroen hasn’t yet revealed the full feature list, but it comes with roof-mounted AC vents. Other than that, we have a 10.2-inch infotainment system similar to the C3 hatchback.
Citroen C3 Aircross 2023 – Launch timeline
For now, Citroen has only unveiled the C3 Aircross. Pricing of the car will be unveiled in the second half of 2023. What about the pricing? The pricing of Citroen C3 Aircross is to be priced around the Rs 12 lakh mark. The C3 will rival products like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq etc. It will have a unique advantage with the 7-seater layout as C-SUV currently offers it.
