The IONIQ 5 is Hyundai’s flagship product in India and comes loaded with features. In terms of equipment, the IONIQ 5 comes with two 12.3-inch displays for the instrument cluster and infotainment system, an augmented heads-up display, Bose sound system, and all-electric powered seats. The IONIQ 5 also comes with Level-2 ADAS adding an extra layer of safety.
Pricing
The IONIQ 5 comes in one variant option. The pricing of this variant is 48.73 lakhs (on-road, Mumbai). Hyundai has increased the price by 1 lakh since its launch, but still, it’s quite a lucrative price for what the car offers.
Rs 50 lakh car – Why is it perfect?
As stated above, you don’t have many options in the around Rs 50 lakhs range. In ICE, you still can select entry-level models of BMW or Mercedes, but there is no EV in this price range. You will have to directly jump to the Kia EV 6 or BMW i4, which are a bit more expensive than the IONIQ 5. Also, the IONIQ offers almost everything expected of a car at this price.
