Spied design
As stated above, the new Swift has been spotted testing several times. Even with the camouflage, we have spotted several new design details. For starters, it seems to be getting a sleeker design. The bonnet seems to be getting an elongated design. Maruti has placed the door handles on the door rather than on the C-pillar like the current model.

The new Swift is going to get a major change under the hood. According to rumors, Maruti is going to plonk a strong hybrid setup on the new Swift. This could be a similar hybrid setup to what we see on the Grand Vitara. On the Grand Vitara, this system delivers a mileage of 27kmpl, so on the Swift, we can expect a mileage of 35 to 40kmpl, which will be mind-boggling. Maruti could also employ this system on the new Dzire.
Features
Maruti has figured out that features are way forward in the country. We already saw the number of features Maruti loaded on the Baleno, Brezza and Grand Vitara. The new Swift could also get some features like a heads-up display, a bigger infotainment system, improved connected car technology etc. Maruti could also give it more safety features to improve its safety ratings.

According to several Japanese publications, Suzuki plans to launch the new Swift in Europe by the Spring of 2023. Spring months could be anywhere between March to June. So what about the India launch? The India launch could happen just before the festive season, specifically Diwali. Diwali would be the perfect time considering the popularity of Swift.
