SUVs continue to pull in good numbers in the Indian car market. All types of SUVs are in demand, and manufacturers are looking to tap into this growth. Considering the fierce competition, manufacturers have to keep on updating their SUVs. In the coming time, these 5 SUVs could get an update. In today’s article, let’s talk about these new updated SUVs 2023.
Kia Seltos
The Seltos worked out like a charm for Kia in the country. Since its launch in 2019, it has raked in good sales and in the process establishing the Kia brand. Even now, the Seltos doesn’t feel old, but Kia is readying its facelift. This facelifted model gets an updated exterior design. In the interior, Kia has updated the dashboard layout and has also added ADAS. Kia is expected to launch the Seltos facelift sometime in 2023.
Tata Safari
Tata has continued to load Safari with features. But people have been asking for a design refresh. Recently the Safari facelift was spotted in testing. It sported a front design similar to the Harrier EV that was showcased at the Auto Expo. In the update, we could see a new grille and bumpers. At the rear, also we can expect some minor changes. Feature-wise, Tata might give it a 12-inch infotainment system. The rest of the features would remain the same. Tata is expected to launch the Safari facelift in the second half of 2023.
New SUVs 2023 – Tata Harrier
Like the Safari, the Harrier will also be getting the much-needed design update. We hope Tata increases the differentiation between the Harrier and Safari. Other than that, we can expect new bumpers and headlamps. Tata could also tweak the taillamp design. What about the launch? The Harrier facelift could be launched in tandem with the Safari facelift.
Hyundai Creta
Like the Kia Seltos, the Hyundai Creta is also due for an update. Last year, Hyundai unveiled the Creta facelift in Indonesia. Since then, people have been waiting for it in the country. But according to sources, Hyundai plans to launch a different facelift in India. This facelift could miss out on the Tucson-inspired front fascia. Other than that, the facelift will surely get new features like ADAS, a 360-degree camera, etc. Hyundai could launch the Creta facelift by the end of 2023 or early 2024.
New SUVs 2023 – Tata Nexon
The Nexon is one car that has risen a lot in popularity in the last few years. It has skyrocketed to become the best-selling SUV in the country. Though Nexon is at the top of the sales chart, it still needs an update. Recently the Nexon facelift was spotted in testing. With this facelift, it could get a new design and some added new features. Feature-wise, we could see a new 10.25-inch infotainment system, a new digital instrument cluster, LED headlamps etc. Tata could launch the Nexon facelift by the end of 2023 or early 2024.
