New MG Hector pricing out! Compass slayer?
The car which paved Morris Garage’s name on the Indian Market has been refreshed for the year 2023. We had already covered the car in detail, but at the Expo MG has revealed the pricing of the new MG Hector. In today’s article, lets talk about the price of the New Hector.
MG Hector 2023 – Design
The front look of the car is where we could see the majority of changes in terms of the exterior. The car has got a reworked grille which adds to the glam element of the car. Other than this the headlamp design is more or less the same with no other drastic changes made to the rear and side profile. Overall the car has received a proper facelift which makes it look more premium with its chrome studded grille.
Features
The interiors are a step up from the last model which scores this car a point. We are talking about its new 14-inch touchscreen system with a tweaked interior layout. It has got a plethora of features like level 2 ADAS, a panoramic sunroof, a new fully digital instrument cluster, bilingual voice commands, wireless charging and more. Surprisingly MG is not offering ADAS on the diesel variant.
MG Hector 2023 – Specifications
As this is a facelift update, no changes have been made under the hood. It continues to get the same 1.5-litre turbo petrol with a mild hybrid that makes around 141bhp. The second option is the 2.0-litre turbo diesel that makes 167bhp. Transmission options are to choose between manual and CVT (petrol only) auto gearbox. No diesel automatic is on offer.
MG Hector 2023 – Pricing
The pricing of the new Hector starts from Rs 14.72 lakh and goes to Rs 22.42 lakh (ex-showroom). Suprisingly, MG has not increased the price on the new Hector. The variant lineup of the new Hector is also similar with Style 9(14.72 lakh), Smart (16.79 lakh), Smart Pro (17.98 lakh), Sharp Pro (19.44 lakh), Savy Pro (21.72 lakh).
