The Compact SUV segment is one of the most crowded segments in the country. Almost all manufacturers have their cars in this segment barring a few. Hyundai was kind of late to the party with the Venue in 2019. However, Venue quickly made its mark in this segment with its features and engine-transmission options. It also got a major facelift in 2022, giving it a fresh look. Still, the Venue lacks a lot of things. So if you want these things you shouldn’t buy the Hyundai Venue in 2023. So what are the things it lacks? In today’s article, let’s find out.

Fewer features

Hyundai Venue launched

Being a Hyundai car, the Venue was known for its features. When it was launched in 2019, it had the biggest touchscreen in this segment and a lot more features than the competition. Fast forward to 2022, the Venue is still stuck with the 8.0-inch infotainment system, while the competition offers 9 and even 10-inch displays. The Venue also misses out on convenience features like ventilated seats and a 360-degree camera. So if features are your topmost priority, then better consider the Kia Sonet or the Maruti Brezza.

Less space

The Hyundai Venue does look like a proper propionate car from the outside. However, the same cannot be said about its interiors. The Venue lacks second-row space in that sense, it cannot seat 3 proper adults in the second row. If you want a proper 5-seater SUV then the Tata Nexon or even the Mahindra XUV300 are better options than the Hyundai Venue.

Hyundai Venue 2023 – Safety

Safety is quickly becoming a priority in the Indian market. GNCAP is yet to test the Venue, but its bigger sibling, the Creta could only score three stars, and the Venue could also get a similar rating. So if you are looking for a safe car in this segment, then you shouldn’t buy the Venue. Safe options in this segment include the Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger.
