However, in 2023, it is going to update the Verna, which has been an iconic sedan for the brand. The Verna will be getting a generational update making it a lot more premium. Space
The new Hyundai Verna will be bigger than the outgoing model. This has been partially confirmed by the recent spy shots. With the bigger dimensions, the Verna is going to offer a lot more space in the second row. Second-row seating is an issue on the current Verna. Also, the Verna is expected to offer a bigger boot. Considering all this, the New Verna could offer more space than the Creta.
Dynamics
Sedans have always been known for their sporty dynamics and it’s not different on the Verna. The new Verna could take that one step further. Hyundai is already working on a new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine for the new Verna. Also, the Verna could be tuned for a sportier ride. The new Verna could surely offer better dynamics than the Creta.

The Verna has always been a comfortable car due to its low seating position. However, the new-generation Hyundai is expected to take that one step ahead. According to reports, the new Verna will be a lot more premium than the outgoing model as Hyundai wants to fill the gap left by the Elantra. This means Verna will be a lot more comfortable with better space as mentioned above.

The new Verna will be Hyundai’s only premium sedan in India and it would need all the features to stamp its authority. Hyundai could look to improve the interior fit and finish. Also, it could add features like updated connected car technology, digital instrument cluster, 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, wireless charging etc.
New Verna 2023 – ADAS
ADAS is quickly becoming a feel-good feature for most people. The new Verna spotted testing in India has been spotted with radar tech hinting at the possibility of ADAS. Currently, only Tucson offers ADAS in Hyundai’s portfolio. The facelifted Creta is expected to offer it, but for now, the Creta misses out on ADAS. With ADAS, the Verna could offer that extra layer of protection.
