Hyundai Verna N Line spotted testing?

The sedan market has slowed down in the last few years. Several manufacturers like Mahindra and Renault have abandoned the sedan segment. However, Hyundai has no plans to abandon this segment. It is working on the new generation Verna. We know some details about the car, but new spy shots have surfaced online. These spy shots indicate that this could be the N-Line variant. New spy shots! N Line variant?

The new spy shots were posted on the Instagram page of Autojournal_india. In the spy shots, we can see a heavily camouflaged sedan. It is easy to figure out this is the new Verna from the overall silhouette. So what’s new? We can spot red brake callipers, so could this be an N-Line variant? We can also see stylish alloy wheels, another characteristic of an N-Line variant. Also, we can see the ADAS radar at the front confirming the presence of ADAS on the new Verna. 

What else do we know?

From the spy shots, it is clear that the new Verna will be bigger than the current model. These bigger dimensions should translate into better legroom and cabin space. What about the specifications? The new Verna is expected to retain the same engine options. However, considering the bigger dimensions Hyundai could give it a 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine. This will help the car take on the Virtus and Slavia. Being a Hyundai car, it is expected to come loaded with features. Some of the expected features include a 360-degree camera, a new infotainment system, a heads-up display and improved connected car technology.

Hyundai Verna N Line – Launch timeline

Currently, there is no official confirmation from Hyundai regarding the new Verna. But of late the car is being spotted several times. This could indicate the car could be in the final stages of development. Hyundai could unveil the car at the Auto Expo of 2023. The launch could happen a few months after the unveiling.
