For the very first time, the Jimny 5-door has been spotted in broad daylight without any camouflage layer on it. What all it has got? We can see the Jimny rolling in full flesh with well-defined body cladding, an added pair of doors and the tailgate-mounted spare wheel. Moving below, we can also spot the horizontally laid-out taillamps with a classic look.
The ‘Jimny’ badge is evident on the side opening tailgate and we can also see the unlock request sensors on the front doors and boot-lid for car unlock. The overall look of the vehicle remains boxy with no significant cuts and creases. It is true to its SUV characteristics with a visibly tall ground clearance. The spotted car is in the ‘Kinetic Yellow’ shade with adequate-sized alloy wheels. We can also spot the rear glass wiper peeping out behind the rear spare wheel.

Maruti is bringing a new lifestyle off-roader car after its iconic Gypsy. This new Jimny is set to put out modern-day features and practicality with sustainable classic design. If we talk about the features, it is expected to get a touchscreen infotainment system, semi-digital instrument cluster, all power windows, basic Suzuki Connect features and more.
If we talk about the engine, the Jimny could house the K15B 1.5-litre petrol engine which currently powers the Ciaz in Maruti’s lineup. This mill makes around 103bhp which is touted to be efficient for the comparatively (competent against Thar 5-door and Gurkha 5-door) smaller Jimny 5-door. Suzuki’s AllGripPro would be another icing to merry it well on the off-roads.
