Royal Enfield has been a renowned brand in India. Thanks to its very iconic bike which is none other than the Bullet. This bike has a charisma of its own and all of us are still fanboys of the ‘DUG DUG DUG’ sound. The Bullet moniker has been utilized with versions like Standard, Electric, Classic, and more. One such brand name which has helped the bikemaker excel is the ‘Classic’. So, Royal Enfield wants to use the ‘Classic’ badge on its new 650cc bike. No doubt it is likely to be called the new Bullet Classic 650.

Bullet Classic 650 – What could it get?

Bullet Classic 650

The Bullet Classic 650 would be more of everything than the outselling Classic 350. For starters, as the name would suggest it is set to get a 648cc twin-cylinder engine capable of producing 47bhp and 52Nm of torque. Apart from getting a powerful engine, it would be more focused towards effortless cruising and mile munching. The ‘Classic’ series bikes have always had a soft corner for comfort. This bike could be no exception with USD forks up front and twin shock absorbers at the rear.

It is likely to get the same engine and platform as the Interceptor and Continental GT. Unlike these bikes which stand on the sportier front, the Classic 650s’ job would be a retro look-inspired cruiser with better performance. Harnessing the extra performance could be done with a dual ABS dual disc setup.

Bullet Classic 650 – Features and Launch timeline

The Classic retro look has always been a thing with this bike. Proper wire-spoke design for the spokes, its round headlamp, and Bullet’s two dot parking lights are some of the salient features this bike could retain. Other than this it is also likely to get a single-piece seat, a low overhang for the exhaust pipe, and more. If we talk about its features, it could get a semi-digital instrument cluster, tripper navigation display and dual-channel ABS.
