Super Meteor 650 India – Design

Super Meteor 650 India

The Super Meteor 650 fuses retro underpinnings on modern design. From the overall looks, it looks like a bike on which you munch miles quite easily. The 19-inch front and 16-inch rear tyres give the bike a proportionate look. We have a 43mm USD fork, a first for Royal Enfield bikes. Braking seems not to be an issue with the 320mm disc and 300mm disc at the rear with dual-channel ABS. Overall the bike looks quite pleasing to the eyes with its different colour schemes.

Engine

Now coming to the heart of this bike, the 650cc parallel twin engine that is used by the Interceptor and Continental GT 650. This engine is capable of producing 47bhp and 52Nm of torque. Royal Enfield has tuned the engine to produce peak torque at lower RPMs. Also, the Super Meteor uses a new chassis which Royal Enfield claims is better than other 650cc bikes in its portfolio.
