Maruti Rs 5 lakh 7 seater in the works!
Maruti holds an iron hold in the affordable 7-seater in India. Generally, when we think about affordable options we think about the Ertiga and XL6. However, Maruti’s most affordable option is the Eeco. The Eeco has been practically the same since its launch in 2010. Maruti has been giving some minor updates. Now Maruti could bring a major update to the Eeco. In today’s article, let’s talk about this Rs 5 lakh 7-seater.
Design
The new Eeco could get several changes on the exterior. We could see a new set of bumpers, reworked headlamps, a new grille and an updated tail lamp design. Standard wheel covers and fog lamps are some of the expected elements. Other than this, the Eeco would continue to persist with a van-like design which is famous for.
Specifications
Maruti recently launched the new Eeco with the 1.2-litre DualJet engine petrol engine that it uses on the Dzire, Swift and other models. This engine is capable of producing 80bhp and 104Nm of torque. In CNG mode, the power figures drop to 71bhp and 95Nm of torque. We don’t think Maruti will continue with this engine on the new Eeco.
Rs 5 lakh 7-seater – Launch and pricing
Maruti recently launched Eeco with an updated engine and new features. However, it was not a major update considering the overall design has remained the same. So we can expect Maruti to bring the new Eeco with more updates in 2023. What about the pricing? The pricing of the new Eeco could start from Rs 5.50 lakhs (ex-showroom).
