The Innova is Toyota’s bread-and-butter model in India. Since its launch in 2004, the Innova has made its name in the MPV segment with its no-nonsense approach and diesel engine. So, when Toyota decided to launch the Innova HyCross it was quite a surprise. However, the Innova HyCross has gained a good response. What about the Innova Crysta? The Toyota Innova Crysta could get a minor facelift in 2023. In today’s article, let’s talk about the Toyota Innova Crysta facelift 2023.

Why a facelift?

Toyota Innova facelift 2023

Toyota has removed the Innova Crysta from its website. But there are reports that the Innova Crysta will be making a comeback soon. Toyota will be doing a variant reshuffle to accommodate the Innova Crysta alongside the Innova HyCross. It makes sense as the Innova HyCross will cater to modern buyers, while the Crysta will cater to the original audience of the Innova. Also with this variant reshuffling, Toyota could give a minor facelift to the Innova Crysta to make it more in line with the Innova HyCross.

What could change?

This will not be a major facelift, as the Innova Crysta received a major facelift in 2020. So this update will be a more subtle one to give the Crysta a fresh look. Toyota could change the bumpers and side skirts and also tweak the chrome elements. Toyota could also change the interior colours. Another thing to note is that this Innova Crysta will be diesel only. We don’t expect Toyota to add any new features to the Innova Crysta.

Toyota has maintained quite a silent approach on the launch of the Innova Crysta. According to reports, Toyota will re-launch the vehicle in January 2023. What about the pricing? The price bump on the Crysta facelift depends on the pricing of the Innova HyCross. Toyota will have to make the diesel engine BS6 stage-2 compliant adding to the cost.
