If you ask why Creta has been a benchmark product for Hyundai, then it can’t be justified by a single reason. Over its legacy of more than 5 years in India, the brand has kept brushing it to its finest level. This constant effort of Hyundai is the salient reason behind its success. The ever-popular car is yet to receive another major update which is likely to mount its equipment list. However, there are some features that the Creta facelift could possibly miss! Which are these features? Let’s check them out!

Hyundai Creta facelift missing features – All Wheel Drive

Hyundai Creta facelift

Hyundai sells the Creta AWD in the Russian market. If we look at the Russian spec Creta, that car is based on the ‘SU2r’ (Indian spec gets localised ‘SU2i’) platform which is powered by a 2.0-litre NA petrol and 1.6-litre turbo petrol engine. This would result in higher prices for the car ultimately affecting its sales. Moreover, the tax rates would be much higher if ever Hyundai plans to bring it here.

Heads Up Display

Maruti has pioneered this feature in the mass market cars and Kia has this feature on the Seltos too. On the other hand, if we look at Hyundai, its current flagship SUV – Tucson does not get it. This resembles even fewer chances for Creta facelift to get it. However, Hyundai could give it an all digital instrument cluster just like we see in their Alcazar.

Hyundai Creta facelift missing features  – Powered co-driver seat

Hyundai Creta facelift

Hyundai Creta offers an 8-way electrically adjustable driver seat. However, the ‘electronic adjustability’ could only be limited to the driver. The co-driver might continue to get manual adjustments like the current selling car.

Telescopic steering wheel

The current car gets only tilt adjustment for the steering wheel. As this is just a facelift update for Creta, there are fewer chances that the updated model could get the telescopic adjustment function.  If we compare its rivals, the Grand Vitara, Urban Cruiser HyRyder, and the Kia Seltos does get it.

Hyundai Creta is one of the feature-loaded cars in its segment. The brand is known for the fact that features are an important USP in this segment but considering the price category it might be overkill.
