Hyundai has always banked heavily with Creta. It has become a hot-seller for the Korean automaker in the C-segment SUV space. It sits in a very competitive segment that has popular cars like the Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, etc. So, Hyundai is planning to update its Creta to maintain its stronghold. New Hyundai Creta facelift – Design
The Hyundai Creta facelift is likely to be based on the Indonesian facelift model. The front would look similar to the Hyundai Tucson with the ‘Parametric Design’ grille. It would get an updated headlamp and taillamp design. Another notable change would be the connecting light strip at the rear which is becoming a signature in new Hyundai cars.
Specifications
As it’s a facelift update, Hyundai is unlikely to make changes to its powertrain. Creta would continue to get a 1.2-litre petrol, a 1.4-litre turbo petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel engine. Gearbox options would include 6-speed MT, iMT, DCT, CVT, and automatic torque converter.
New Hyundai Creta facelift – Features
New features are expected with the facelift. Fully-digital instrument cluster identical to the Hyundai Alcazar, a 360-degree parking camera, front parking sensors, a HUD, multi-colour ambient lighting, etc. are expected to be some of the additions. ADAS is one more feature that would mostly make its way to this SUV.
Launch
