The Suzuki V-Strom SX 250 is an attractive adventure motorcycle. It carries the same bold V-Strom family looks that definitely stand out. It has 19-inch front and 17-inch rear semi-block style pattern alloy wheels. In the front, it has the octagonal-shaped LED headlamps as we see on the Gixxer. The beak in front enhances the overall look. Also, it has got a decent-sized windscreen which will helps in reducing wind-blast while highway touring. The seat height might be a problem for shorter rides as it measures 835mm from the ground. Being an adventure bike, it has a good ground clearance of 205mm. This bike weighs 167kg (kerb weight) and has a fuel tank capacity of 12 litres.

Suzuki has made it a feature-rich bike. It has octagonal-shaped LED headlights like the Gixxer, along with LED taillights. Suzuki has offered a single-press start switch, and an illuminated USB charger to charge your phone on the go. It also gets a digital instrument console with many interesting Bluetooth connectivity features. This display shows missed-call alerts with caller ID, phone battery level display, speed exceeding alert, turn-by-turn navigation, SMS and WhatsApp alerts, and ETA updates.

The V-Strom SX 250 will be running on the same engine that we see on the Gixxer 250 and the Gixxer SF 250. This bike would thus come powered by a 249cc SOCS (Suzuki Oil Cooling system) engine mated to a six-speed constant mesh transmission. This engine produces 26.1bhp & 22.2Nm of torque.

Suzuki has launched the V-Strom SX 250 at Rs 2.13 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai). This bike is placed in the 250cc adventure segment. Here, it would be competing with bikes like KTM 250 Adventure and Benelli TRK 251.
