New Maruti Ertiga – All details OUT!

Even with the price increase, the Carens is still quite a value for money option. Maruti had been preparing an update for the Ertiga & XL6 to take on the Carens for some time now. Today, the brand has opened the bookings for the new Ertiga and has even shared the updates that it will come with. In today’s article, we will take a look at the new Ertiga details.

Bookings and launch

Maruti has commenced the bookings of the new Ertiga. The new New Ertiga can be booked for an amount of Rs 11,000. It can be booked through the Arena showrooms or by logging into MarutiSuzuki.com. Maruti will be launching the refreshed Ertiga on the 15th of April 2022.

New Maruti Ertiga – design and features

Maruti has confirmed that the Ertiga will get a design refresh. It is confirmed to get a new grille. Other design changes will be revealed once the car is launched. Maruti has added a lot of new features to the New Ertiga. It will now come with advanced connected car technology – Suzuki Connect and a 7.0-inch SmartPro Play touchscreen infotainment system.

New engine and gearbox 

The new Ertiga will be powered by the next-generation K-series 1.5-litre Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine with a progressive smart hybrid setup. This engine will be paired to a six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. Maruti will also be offering a CNG option on the new Ertiga. The new Ertiga will get the CNG version in the ZXi variant, which was earlier only available in the VXi variant.
