India is the biggest market for Maruti Suzuki, considering sales volume. It even has a decent amount of presence in global markets. The Japanese carmaker sells some good cars outside India but has not yet brought them to India. In today’s article, we will take a look at some Suzuki cars we wish the brand brings in India.
Jimny
Unsurprisingly, Jimny makes to the list of Suzuki cars that we need in India. The Jimny sold outside India comes in a three-door variant. Maruti is working on a five-door variant for the Indian market. Dimension-wise, the three-door variant is 3645mm long, 1645mm wide and 1725mm tall. The Jimny sold globally comes with a 1.5-litre engine capable of producing 100bhp and 130Nm of torque. We expect the same configuration to be kept for our country as well.
Suzuki cars in India – Swift Sport
Ths Swift is quite a popular car in India. It is known for its sporty looks and performance. Globally, Suzuki makes a more powerful version of the Swift called the Swift Sport as well. It is 50mm longer than the normal Swift and comes with a K14D 1.4-litre Boosterjet engine capable of producing 138bhp and 230Nm of torque. We wish Suzuki brings this to India.
Vitara
The Vitara is the bigger sibling of the Vitara Brezza sold in India. It is known globally for its comfort and its ability to take on city & bad roads. Dimension-wise, the Vitara is 4175mm long, 1775mm wide and 1610mm tall. It has a wheelbase of 2500mm and a ground clearance of 185mm. The Vitara comes with two engine options, a 1.0-litre Boosterjet unit and a 1.4-litre Boosterjet unit.
Suzuki cars in India – New S-Cross
The S-Cross is quite a competent product that has struggled in the Indian market. Suzuki recently launched the new S-Cross in the European market. Its updated version comes with a more sharp design language similar to the XL6. It also gets a lot of new features like the Advanced Driver Assistance System, panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats etc. We wish Suzuki brings it to India to heat up competition in the C-SUV space here.
