Skoda to update the Kushaq lineup again?

Skoda Kushaq being a C-segment SUV lies in the segment where cars like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and MG Astor clash. It is currently offered in three variants – Active, Ambition, and Style. Now, Skoda is planning to add the Monte Carlo edition to the Kushaq lineup. We have seen this variant layout in the Skoda Rapid as well. On the exterior, it might get a Black front grille, sporty alloy wheels, a stylish rear bumper with fake dual exhaust finish, and Piano Black finish over the chrome parts. The Monte Carlo Badge will be present on the B-pillar or C-pillar. In the interior, the seats might be finished in sporty black leatherette with red stitchings. There might be some sporty inserts on the dashboard as well to signify the Monte Carlo edition. The biggest difference would be that it might get a fully-digital instrument cluster instead of the regular analog instrument cluster being made available in the current variants. 

Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo edition – Engine Specifications

The Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo Edition would be available in two engine options. The first is a 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine that makes 114bhp & 178Nm of torque, and the second is a 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine that makes 148bhp & 250Nm of torque. Both the engines are very powerful and also return good mileage. These engines are mated to a manual as well as automatic transmission options.

Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo edition – Pricing and Conclusion

The Monte Carlo edition of the Skoda Kushaq might cost Rs 80,000 to Rs 1 lakhs more than the regular top trim. That is it might be priced somewhere between Rs 18.5 lakhs to Rs 19 lakhs (ex-showroom). This variant would be appreciated by the people who like the sporty appeal of an SUV.
