Currently, it is riding high on the success of the Kiger. It seems that Renault wants to continue this momentum by launching new cars. New-generation Renault Duster
The Duster was Renault’s best-selling car in India. It established the popular C-SUV segment in India. But Renault didn’t update it timely to take on the competition. It is speculated that Renault will be directly launching the third-generation Duster in India, skipping the second-generation. The new-generation will be based on a new platform and will come loaded with features.

Coupe SUVs are expected to be the next trend in the Indian car market. We are seeing a lot of manufacturers working on their coupe SUVs. Renault is also testing its Arkana in India. The Arkana will come via the CBU route. So the Arkana will be expensive, but Renault will be looking to justify the price with upmarket interiors and technology.
Renault Kwid EV
The EV segment is still in its nascent stage in India. There are no affordable EVs as of today. Renault can target this segment with the Kwid EV. The Kwid is already a popular car in India. So Renault can use this popularity to start its EV journey in India. The Kwid EV will gets some unique highlights to differentiate it from the normal Kwid. It could come with a range of 250km which would be sufficient for city drives.
Upcoming Renault cars – Renault 7-seater
The seven-seater segment in India has seen a lot of activity in the past few months. Renault can also enter this segment with the Jogger MPV it sells outside India. The Jogger is based on the new-generation Duster. So it borrows a lot of exterior and interior elements from the Duster. Renault can bring the Jogger to take on the Kia Carens.
