The new generation Mahindra Scorpio is the most awaited SUV in 2022. Under the hood, it is expected to get the 2.0-litre mStallion turbo-petrol engine and a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine. The price of the new Scorpio is expected to start from Rs 10.5 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Toyota Hilux
Toyota Hilux is also one of the most awaited cars in 2022. It will be a premium four-door, five-seater pick-up truck. It will come powered by a 2.8-litre diesel engine. It will get a four-wheel-drive (4WD) option as well. Its major competitor in its segment will be the Isuzu D-Max.

Jeep has already unveiled their Jeep Meridian, a seven-seater SUV. It would look like the Jeep Compass but it will be bigger with seven seats. Kia Carnival 2022
Kia has given the Carnival a new generation overseas. The new generation will carry on features like the dual sunroof, two 10.1-inch infotainment systems for rear passengers, Kia’s UVO connected car technology, and ventilated seats for driver and co-driver seats. It might also get level-two ADAS features. It will run on a 2.2-litre VGT diesel engine that makes 197bhp & 440Nm of torque. The new generation Kia Carnival might be priced between Rs 25 lakhs to Rs 35 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Hyundai Tucson
Hyundai Tucson is also one of the most awaited cars in India. It is an SUV that stands above the Creta. It will get all features from the Creta like ventilated seats, a big infotainment system, premium sound system, panoramic sunroof, and Blue Link connected car technology. The Tucson might also get the level-two ADAS system. Talking about the engine, it might run on a 2.0-litre diesel engine that makes 184bhp & 240Nm of torque.
