Maruti Ertiga is the most selling MPV in India. Ertiga is so popular that it has a waiting period of close to five to nine months in India. The XL6 is the premium version of the Ertiga. It is sold by their premium Nexa dealers. Now, those hot-selling MPVs are going to get an update very soon. In today’s article, we will know what would be the changes in the new Ertiga and XL6 facelift and what other things do we expect.
Ertiga and XL6 facelift – Looks and Dimensions
The new-generation Ertiga was recently launched in 2018 and XL6 was launched in 2019. Now, both cars would get a minor facelift in 2022. Both the cars will get a new front grille and new paint schemes for the exterior. No changes in the overall design and the dimensions are expected. Both the cars would be the same with some minor makeup.
Ertiga and XL6 facelift – Features and Interior
The interior will be the same as the current Ertiga and XL6. The design of the dashboard will remain unchanged. The steering wheel and controls mounted on it will also be the same. The only noticeable difference would be that the new facelifts can get the new colors in the interior.
Engine and Specifications
Both the cars will continue to get the same engine. Under the hood, they will have 1.5-litre K15B Smart Hybrid petrol engines. This engine makes 103bhp & 138Nm of torque. The Ertiga is available in the CNG option as well.
Pricing and Launch Date
The Ertiga facelift and the XL6 facelift might launch in March 2022. The new facelifts are expected to be priced Rs 10,000 to 20,000 more than the current model.
