Mahindra is known for its rugged SUV lineup. The brand has found great success with its SUV lineup not just in India but in foreign markets as well. Now it is looking to remodel its lineup to continue its domination. The brand is focusing on launching the new-generation Scorpio in the coming time. We expect Mahindra to call it the Scorpio Sting. This will be another important launch for Mahindra considering the legacy of the Scorpio. The Scorpio has been spotted numerous times undergoing testing. The heavily camouflaged car was spotted testing in Indore. It was spotted by our reader, Prajal Jain. It is easy to figure out that it is a new Scorpio, considering the side-opening rear door and the massive road presence. The spotted car reveals sporty-looking roof rails as well. Also, other noticeable things include a rear wiper, a semi-digital instrument cluster and alloy wheels. At the front, you can see C-shaped DRLs surrounding the fog lamps.

Mahindra will be giving the Scorpio a lot of modern features to attract tech-savvy buyers. It is expected to come with features like a basic version of AdrenoX, connected car tech, dual-zone climate control, 10.0-inch infotainment system, third-row charging & AC vents, electric sunroof and much more.

The new-generation Scorpio Sting will get both diesel and petrol engine options. It is expected to come with a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine with a tuning similar to the MX variant of XUV700. The petrol engine is expected to be a 2.0-litre mStallion unit similar to the Thar. Both the engines come with manual and automatic transmissions.
