How will Mahindra counter the Kia Carens?
Mahindra is a brand that’s known for its rugged SUVs. They had also launched an MPV that is available in seven and eight-seater configuration the Mahindra Marazzo. The Marazzo is a good car but misses out on some important features that need to be updated soon. In this article, we will discuss five features that we expect to be included in the Mahindra Marazzo so that it can counter the upcoming Kia Carens.
Mahindra Marazzo AMT gearbox
The Marazzo is currently offered with a 1.5-litre that produces 121bhp & 300Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. This MPV from Mahindra will get updated with a six-speed AMT gearbox from the Mahindra XUV300. Availability of AMT will make driving the Marazzo an easy task especially in city traffic. This AMT gearbox will come with the various functions that are currently offered with the Mahindra XUV300.
Wireless Charging
Wireless charging is a trending feature that is offered in almost all new cars these days. Be it premium hatchbacks, compact SUVs, premium SUVs or even sedans, wireless charging adds to the premium feel of the car along with enhancing the overall convenience of the passengers. Mahindra Marazzo is also expected to get a wireless charging dock.
New Head Lights
Currently, the Mahindra Marazzo gets halogen headlights. We expect the Marazzo to get LED headlights. This will improve visibility while driving at night or during low visibility. The throw and spread of the light are also expected to be improved with the use of LED headlights.
Mahindra Marazzo New Tail Lights
LED taillights are becoming a common feature in cars these days. LED taillights are brighter than normal halogen bulbs and make the car visible from a far-off distance while driving at night. We expect the Marazzo to get stylish LED taillights.
Connected Car Technology
Connected car technology is expected to be added to Marazzo in the next update. This will allow access to features like find my car, geo-fencing, check vehicle status via app, over-the-air updates, etc. The Marazzo is also expected to get wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto connectivity.
