Tata Tigor

Tata Tigor is a sub-four-metre compact sedan. This car has scored four stars in the Global NCAP crash test. The Tigor now offers CNG variants as well. The base variant starts at Rs 6.93 lakhs with the top variants reaching up to Rs 9.53 lakhs (on-road, Mumbai). Its main competitors are Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Aura and Honda Amaze. 

Tata Tiago

Tata Tiago is another affordable car that does not compromise with safety. Again, a Tata product, that has scored four stars in the Global NCAP crash test. Like the Tigor, the Tiago also comes with factory-fitted CNG option now. The Tiago starts at Rs 6.23 lakhs to Rs 8.67 lakhs (on-road, Mumbai). It competes with the hatchbacks like Maruti Celerio, Maruti WagonR and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios. 

Maruti Vitara Brezza

Maruti Vitara Brezza competes in the very crowded compact SUV segment. It has scored four-star ratings in the Global NCAP crash test. The Maruti Vitara Brezza is all set to receive a facelift now that will help it take on the competition even firmly. The Vitara Brezza starts at a price of Rs 9.01 lakhs (on-road, Mumbai). It competes with Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Renault Kiger, and the Nissan Magnite. 

Renault Triber

The Renault Triber is an affordable seven-seater MUV. It is also the smallest seven-seater with a length of just 3990mm. The Triber scored four stars in the Global NCAP crash test. The Renault Triber starts at Rs 6.60 lakhs and goes upto Rs 9.62 lakhs (on-road, Mumbai).
