In today’s article, we will see new details of the upcoming MG ZS EV facelift that have been revealed by the spy shots.
What do the spy images reveal?
An MG car with heavy camouflage was spotted by one of our readers, Mr Gaurav Tejwani. It is easy to figure out that it is the ZS EV facelift from the overall silhouette and tail lamp design. The car is undergoing testing before its launch here. Our reader also got a sneak peek of the interior, which he couldn’t record on camera. According to him, he spotted an Astor-like infotainment system on this car and a similar dashboard layout.
The spy shots also revel that the MG ZS EV facelift will sport Astor-like headlamps with sleek DRLs.
What else is expected?
The facelifted model will get a more EV-like design with a closed grille. The ZS EV facelift is expected to come with a bigger battery as well. It is expected to get a bigger 51kWh replacing the 44.5kWh battery offered on the current model. This will give the ZS EV an even better range. MG is also expected to give the ZS EV ADAS functionality similar to the Astor.
MG ZS EV spy shots – Launch and pricing
There is no official confirmation from MG regarding the launch of the new ZS EV. However, with the regular spy shots, we can expect a launch sometime this month. Considering the bigger battery, features and design changes, we expect a big price jump on the 2022 ZS EV facelift.
