Tata is one of the favorite car manufacturing companies in India. Tata has some cars lined up to launch in upcoming years. Here, we must know which cars Tata is going to launch in India in the years 2023-2024. Lets take a look at the potential Tata future products for India.

Tata Sierra

Tata Sierra will be a compact SUV that would compete with the SUVs like the Hyundai Creta and the Kia Seltos in the market. It was showcased in the 2020 Auto Expo in the electric version. But the company will launch its petrol and Diesel engines as well like the Tata Nexon. The Tata Sierra is expected to launch in India in the Year 2023.

Tata Blackbird

Tata Blackbird will be an SUV coupe. It will be based on Nexon’s X1 platform. But the Tata would extend the X1 platform and it will be having longer wheelbase. It will be available in all-electric, petrol and diesel as well. In terms of safety, Tata is well known for its safety so, the Blackbird will also be good in safety. It can get the ADAS features as well.

Tata future products- Altroz EV

The Altroz EV will be complete like the ongoing petrol Altroz with minimal design tweaks. It will be based on the ALFA-Arc Platform which is specially developed for the Altroz EV. This car will have a 30.2kWh liquid-cooled, IPX67 lithium-ion battery pack. The motor used will be a 3 Phase Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor which could generate around 100bhp. The Altroz EV would take an hour on DC fast charging to charge 0-80%. The Altroz will have a range around 250km on a single charge. The Altroz EV will mostly come at the end of the year or next year January.

Tata Punch EV

Tata has recently launched their micro-SUV, Punch. Now, Tata has plans to launch their micro SUV in an electric variant as well. The platform used here is based on the ALFA platform. This platform supports electric vehicles as well. For now, there is nothing much to say about it but we can see the Tata Punch EV in the market between 2022-2023.

Tata Nexon Long Range – Tata future products

Tata Nexon EV is the most selling electric car in the Indian market. And, Tata is the largest EV manufacturer in India. But the biggest drawback of the Tata Nexon was its range. Tata is going to launch the Nexon EV with a bigger battery pack. Nexon EV has an ARAI-claimed range of 312km and in the real world, it manages to give a range of 200-220km. Now, the Tata Nexon will get a bigger 40kWh battery pack over the current generation of 30.2kWh. So, the new model could have a claimed range of over 400km. Thus, a real-world range can be expected of 300-320km on a single charge. 

Tata Harrier facelift

Tata debuted its flagship, the Harrier was launched In January 2019. It might get a facelift in 2023. Tata will make available a petrol option for the Harrier as well. Tata is testing the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine for the Harrier and Safari. This car will get ventilated seats, wireless charging, 360 degree camera and more. It will come next year.

Tata has launched the new Safari in 2021. Like Harrier, it might get a minor facelift in 2023. Also, it will get the new engine option in petrol. The Harrier, Safari, and the Blackbird will get the same 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. Tata will load up the Safari with a lot more features in 2023.
