Several of them are gimmicky, but some of them do provide a lot of practical use. One such feature that has been the talk of the town in recent months has been the Advanced Driver Assistance System. Mahindra offered it on the XUV700, followed by MG offering it on the Astor. So considering Hyundai’s track record, it should be giving ADAS to its cars. What is ADAS?

Advanced Driver Assistance System ADAS is a broad term used for a lot of collective features that help prevent accidents. It is quite an important feature from a safety point of view. Also, it needs ADAS to take on the competition cars like the Mahindra XUV700 and MG Astor. Hyundai can offer ADAS as an optional pack on its premium cars. So people wanting ADAS can get it while others can opt-out. Another thing to note is that globally almost all Hyundai cars come with ADAS. So Hyundai has the tech ready it just needs that push to bring it to India. It can also help improve Hyundai’s safety standards in India.
