Mahindra XUV300 is one of the safest SUVs currently available in India. This SUV from Mahindra had scored a five-star safety rating at the Global NCAP. New entrants in the segment have somewhere seemed to affect the sales of this SUV. Mahindra is working on a facelift of the XUV300 that will be seen on Indian roads very soon. The facelift XUV300 gets a newly designed front fascia with a front grille that is expected to be inspired from the front grille of the XUV700. The XUV300 will now carry the twin peaks logo that will be used on all upcoming Mahindra SUVs. The XUV300 will get newly designed headlamps, a new LED DRL layout, and new tail lamp design. The SUV will also be seen with newly designed 17-inch alloy wheels.

The facelift will also give a new and fresh look to the cabin of the XUV300. The all-black interior with black dashboard and seat upholstery. The infotainment system will be center-mounted with piano black surrounds all around the center console. The rear AC vents that are currently missing in the current version will be included in the facelift version of XUV300. Currently, the XUV300 is offered with features like an electric sunroof, seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, cruise control, automatic climate control, connected car tech, and rain-sensing wipers. In terms of safety features, the XUV300 gets six airbags, corner braking control, along with front and rear parking sensors.

Currently, the Mahindra XUV300 gets a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 109bhp and 200Nm of torque. The XUV300 also gets a 1.5-litre CRDi diesel engine that produces 115bhp and 300Nm of torque. A six-speed manual and an AMT gearbox are offered with both petrol and diesel engine. Mahindra is expected to launch the new XUV300 with a 1.2-litre mStallion turbocharged petrol engine. This engine will produce 130bhp and 230Nm of torque mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.

We are expecting the facelift Mahindra XUV300 to be launched in India by mid-2022 or the second half of 2022. The XUV300 with the facelift is expected to be priced with a premium of Rs 35,000 to 50,000 over the existing pricing. We will have to wait for more information from the official source as and when the XUV300 is ready for launch.
