Maruti Baleno is one of the most successful premium hatchbacks available in the market today. New entrants in this segment offer modern features, multiple engine & transmission options, but still fail to compete with Baleno’s popularity and sales figures. Maruti launched the Baleno back in 2015 and till date, the car has just received a facelift back in 2019. With six years already on the product, Maruti is finally bringing a new facelift of the Baleno very soon. In this article, we will discuss what Maruti will offer with this new Baleno facelift.

Maruti Baleno is a car that gets all the necessary features that a buyer might ask for. However, with new changes in technology & trends, buyers are constantly looking for more advanced features. Wireless charging is a feature that is currently offered in many cars. Maruti could include this feature in the new Baleno. Maruti could also offer six airbags to improve safety.

Engine Options

New Maruti Baleno facelift

Previously, a sporty version of Baleno was available as Maruti Baleno RS. We expect Maruti to revive the RS badge now. Along with the RS badge, Maruti will also have to bring back the Boosterjet engine that was offered in the previous Baleno RS. The currently-available engine options are expected to continue. One thing that could change is the transmission option list. The CVT gearbox might be replaced with an AMT gearbox for the facelift.
