The car will get the same engine that Maruti offers in the Ciaz. The Belta will get a 1.5-litre petrol engine with a mild hybrid system. The car will get a five-speed manual and a four-speed torque converter. The Belta is expected to be priced around Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom).

Toyota Hilux

The lifestyle vehicles segment is expanding in India. Toyota has spotted an opportunity in this segment and seems to be planning to bring in a new product. The Hilux is a double cabin pick-up truck that comes with rugged looks and 4×4 capabilities. The Toyota Hilux is built on the IMV platform, similar to Innova and the Fortuner which are built in India. The Hilux also shares its engine, gearbox, and four-wheel-drive system with Innova and Fortuner. This will make manufacturing the Hilux in India cost-effective for Toyota. The Hilux is expected to be priced around Rs 20 to Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Innova has always been a popular product from the brand. The car is expected to get major updates in the coming days. 360-degree camera, ventilated seats, wireless charging, and tyre pressure monitoring system are features that will be added to the Innova during its 2022 update.

Toyota Rumion

Toyota is planning to enter the MPV segment with its Rumion. The Rumion is a rebadged Maruti Ertiga. The only distinguishing element is the front grille with typical Toyota design language that resembles a lot with the Toyota Innova. The car will get three-row seating and also borrow the same engine specifications from Ertiga. The Toyota Rumion is expected to be priced around Rs 10 to Rs 14 lakh (ex-showroom).

Urban Cruiser

Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza will come in a new generation avatar. Since the Urban Cruiser is also a rebadged version of the Vitara Brezza. The Urban Cruiser is also expected to get a proper hybrid system that will make it fuel-efficient. The Urban Cruiser is expected to be priced at Rs 10.50 lakh to Rs 13.50 lakh (Ex-showroom). Toyota has filed a trademark for the ‘Urban Cruiser Hyryder’ nametag also in India. We could see the car differ in style from the Vitara Brezza in the future.
