Tata has been enjoying a really good sales momentum in the Indian market. All its cars are raking in good sales for the brand. The recently launched Punch has also garnered a good response from the consumers.  But in the Indian market, you need to keep constantly evolving to stay relevant. Brands need to be on their toes at all times. Being in the market for such a long time, Tata knows this and has planned to update some of its products. In today’s article, we will see Tata upcoming cars 2022.

Harrier facelift

upcoming Tata cars 2022

The Harrier was Tata’s first big SUV after its sales revival. The Harrier has also done well for the brand. But now it is facing stiff competition from the newer cars. The Harrier hasn’t gotten any major update since its launch in 2019. So now Tata will likely bring a facelifted model of the Harrier. In its facelift, it will get new LED headlamps with different placements. Other exterior changes will include an 18-inch tyre in all variants, new tail lamps and new bumpers.  Mechanically it might get a new petrol engine with manual and automatic gearbox options. The feature addition will include a better touchscreen, wireless connectivity, wireless charging and ventilated seats.

Upcoming Tata cars 2022- Altroz EV

Tata has a significant head start in the EV space of India. It has employed a very clever strategy of converting its fuel-powered cars into EVs before bringing in proper ground-up electric vehicles. The Altroz will be the next car to get an EV form. Tata has already shown the Altroz EV at various auto shows. Design-wise it will be similar to the normal Altroz, but it will get some blue highlights. It will also get Tata’s electric exclusive teal blue colour option.  The Altoz EV will get Tata’s Ziptron technology with an IP 67-rated battery. It is expected to get a range of around 300km and fast charging capabilities.
