Maruti Suzuki is ready to launch the next generation Celerio on the 10th of November. This car is expected to be an all-new car with a minimum carry forward from its previous generation. In this article, we will discuss the new generation Maruti Celerio and what all it has to offer.

The car gets an all-new design and looks like a totally different car when compared to the current generation Celerio. The front fascia of the car gets an upright nose with an oval grille. The grille gets a chrome strip that runs across it with a honeycomb detailing on the inside of the grille. The design of headlamps is triangular and gets halogen lights. The car also gets fog lamps. Black detailing and sharp angular edges on the bumper give it a sporty look. The side profile of the new generation Celerio gets familiar ORVM with turn indicators as seen on other Maruti Suzuki cars. The car gets 14-inch alloy wheels and flap-style door handles.

The car gets an all-new designed interior and looks very different from the current generation of Celerio. The major attraction is the floating touchscreen infotainment system. There are silver elements introduced on AC vents that make it look premium. The steering wheel and AC controls seem to be borrowed from Maruti Wagon R. Smart play infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, electrically adjustable mirrors, push-button start-stop, reverse parking camera, steering mounted controls, dual airbags, keyless entry, and ABS with EBD are some of the features that will be seen in the top-end variant of the Celerio.

New Celerio Gearbox

The next-generation Celerion gets Maruti’s K10C 1.0-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that will feature Dualjet technology the car will be available in a five-speed manual and AMT gearbox. The new generation Maruti Suzuki Celerio will be offered in four variants viz LXI, VXI, ZXI, and ZXI+. Option of the manual gearbox will be standard while the AMT gearbox will be offered from VXI variant and above. The car is said to be more fuel-efficient than the current generation Celerio.

Maruti has started accepting bookings for the new generation Celerio ahead of its launch date in India on 10th of November. The car can be booked for an amount of Rs 11,000 as the cars have already started arriving at the dealership.
