MG Hector has been a really strong product in the mid-size SUV segment. The car takes on products like the Tata Harrier, the Jeep Compass, etc. Feature-loaded, sturdy build quality and powerful engine options are some of the key characteristics of the Hector. Also, the car is made available with CVT and DCT transmissions. However, only the 1.5-litre petrol engine comes mated with these options, with the rest (1.5-litre petrol hybrid engine and 2.0-litre diesel engine) being made available with manual gearboxes only. For today’s article, we will be focusing on the automatic variants of the MG Hector and look at which turns out to be the best out of them. The automatic gearboxes are divided among Smart and Sharp variants.
