What all testing facilities does the NATRAX high-speed test track offer?

NATRAX high-speed test track

The track has been designed for neutral speeds of up to 250km and maximum speeds of up to 375km on curves. There is no speed limit on straight patches whatsoever. Areas like maximum speed, acceleration, high-speed handling & stability, constant speed fuel consumption, torque capacity, noise & ride comfort, emission tests, etc. can be tested on this track. Manufacturers of premium luxury cars, as well as high-speed cars, will really get to enjoy the benefits of this track. Until now, such carmakers had to use tracks in foreign countries to properly test their products. Prototype testing involves repeated alterations & checking results based on the changes made. Testing a car in the country would allow carmakers to make any modifications if required, which would ultimately be a much better proposition for them financially. Also, the track can be used for testing two-wheelers, three-wheelers, commercial vehicles and all types of cars. Besides testing purposes, the track will also available for conducting product launches, dealer events and races.

What do various brands feel about this test track?

Brands like Lamborghini, FCA, Volkswagen, Peugeot and Renault have shown a keen interest in the new high-speed test track facility. The testing facility has been developed under the ‘AatmaNirbhar Bharat’ ideology, putting India on the pedestal of becoming a hub of automobile, manufacturing and spare parts. The keen interest shown by the aforementioned brands is surely going to give a boost to the country moving towards becoming ‘AatmaNirbhar’.
