New Platform & Dimensions

The new Skoda Fabia is based on the brand’s current modular platform, the MQB A0. Being based on this platform helps it add more space inside the cabin, making it the most spacious car in its segment. The car crosses the 4-meter length mark for the first time by attaining a total length of 4108mm, a width of 1780mm and a height of 1459mm. Based on this platform, the car’s boot space has now increased to 380 litres, compared to the 350-litre boot on the previous one.

Modern Design

The new Fabia follows the latest design language that is being used on other Skoda cars these days. The design on the new one clearly resembles that of the upcoming Skoda Kushaq. Sleek headlight and taillight units on the new one get the LED treatment. Elements like the rear spoiler, the bumpers and the alloy wheels have been specifically designed to reduce the aerodynamic drag, which will result in a much smoother ride with controlled NVH levels.
