Maruti Suzuki XL5 – Features over WagonR
The XL5 is expected to be the younger sibling of the premium XL6. Like the XL6, the XL5 is also expected to get premium feel on the product which we get to see in the XL6 over the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. The XL5 is also expected to stand out from the regular Maruti Suzuki Arena products. Today we are discussing what extra features we might get to see on the XL5 over the WagonR.
Exterior & Features
Black contrasting highlights on the body, black alloy wheels, LED DRLs, aggressive front grille similar to the XL6, LED tail lamps, distinctive roof rails and a bold bonnet sculpted with sharper lines might add to the expected aggressiveness of the XL5.
Moreover, the standard NEXA-Blue colour option could also be on offer with the XL5. The XL5 is expected to get Cruise Control as an added feature.
Premium NEXA Experience
The NEXA Showrooms concept was developed with the sole motive of providing the Maruti customers with a premium experience compared to what they experience at a regular Maruti Suzuki Arena showroom. The XL5 will also be touted with this premium touch. Car configurator, mirroring screens, and tablets, where you get to experience the car digitally, are some of the NEXA highlights.
Better Safety Features
Added safety features like Reverse Parking camera, Brake Assist to reduce emergency braking distance, engine immobilizer, ESP with Hill Hold, ISOFIX Child Seat Anchorages, Front Seat Belt Height Adjuster, Pinch Guard for driver side Power Window, LED Front Fog Lamps and a LED High Mount Stop Lamp are expected to be added to the XL5, which we do not get to see on the current WagonR.
Interiors
The XL5 is expected to be premium and plush on the inside. Leather upholstery and seats might be on offer with the XL5. Center armrest might also be available for the rear passengers along with adjustable headrests. Front sliding armrest with storage space and leather-wrapped steering wheel are also expected.
Overall, all-black interiors will complement the premium feel added to the XL5 with an added elegance of premium stone-finish garnish expected to be on display.
