7 Upcoming 7-Seaters for 2021

The seven-seater segment in India is slowly gaining popularity thanks to its affordability and performance. For an Indian middle-class man who wants to travel with his whole family at once, seven-seater cars are much more practical than expensive SUVs and sedans. These 7 Upcoming 7-seaters will give an option in almost all price brackets.

1) Tata Gravitas

This is one of the most anticipated seven-seater car going to launch in India. Tata Gravitas is a car that we have seen at the Auto Expo and we expect Tata to launch it soon. It is a 7 seater version of the Harrier. Tata Harrier is one of the best SUVs in its class in terms of safety and features.

There are other cars in this list who we are expecting as a competition for the Tata Harrier. Gravitas 2021 might directly rival the MG hector Plus and Jeep Compass seven-seater. The price range is not confirmed but we will keep you updated on all the news about this 7-seater.

2) Hyundai Creta “Alcazar”

Hyundai Creta 7-seater is being called the Hyundai Alcazar. This is expected to launch in the second half of 2021. The Creta is an important car for Hyundai currently. With strong products like Venue and Creta in each segment, they also want to dominate the remaining segments. So the Creta 7-seater is expected to dominate the segment above. Hyundai is also planning for a car which is will be an SUV and below the Hyundai Venue. The Hyundai Creta 7-seater will be priced slightly lower than the Hector Plus and the Gravitas as it is expected to have a smaller engine instead of a 2.0-litre.

3) Ford XUV500

The Ford XUV500 is the C-segment SUV which would be launched in the Q1 of 2021. The new grille of the vehicle was spotted and it does show the new design. To take a look at the spy shots check out the article below. This is one of the least known about in the list of New Cars for 2021. It will be based on the XUV500 and may come with seven seats. 4) Jeep Compass 7-seater

Jeep compass 7 Seater is expected after the launch of the facelifted Jeep compass. Its pricing is expected to be higher than the segment and it will provide the premium features with the same. The Jeep compass 7-Seater will rival the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour and MG Gloster. In short, it will be the full-size SUV from Jeep. It will also compete against Tata Gravitas if launched.

5) Mahindra Scorpio

 

 

The current generation Mahindra Scorpio also comes with two side-facing seats at the rear of the SUV, thus making it a seven-seater. Mahindra Scorpio will come as the Mahindra Scorpio Sting. It will also be bigger in dimension than the previous generation. The Mahindra Scorpio will also have slightly better and improved pricing and we are expecting it to become slightly expensive than the segment.

6) MG G10 MPV

The MG G10 MPV is a vehicle designed for those who like have large families or enjoy long drives with friends. It is capable of easily seating 7 people and can hold a lot of cargo as well. While the previous iteration of the G10 didn’t make it to Indian shores, MG has officially announced that the 2020 version will be launched sometime in April 2021. Powering the G10 will be a 2.0L diesel engine that will produce an impressive 163Ps of power and 375Nm of torque. Mated to the diesel engine will be a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission system as standard. It may compete with the Kia Carnival in the Indian car market.

7) Toyota Fortuner

Toyota Fortuner is one of the few authentic seven-seater car present in the Indian car market. Two full-size adults can comfortably sit in the 6th and 7th seat of the Toyota Fortuner. As of now, the new Fortuner has been unveiled in Thailand and we have got a lot of information from it. Powering the Fortuner 2021 will be a 2.7L petrol engine that can generate up to 166Ps of power and 245Nm of torque.

There is also a 2.8L diesel engine option that is set to produce up to 204Ps of power and 500Nm of torque. Both engine options will be mated to either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic transmission. They will also come with rear-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive options.
