Mahindra Logo to Change!

A news report of the upcoming change to the Mahindra Logo has been leaked by Team-BHP. So the question arises is whether there will be a drastic change or would there be a slight tweak to the existing logo? Also, know about when it was changed previously and which was the logo that Mahindra used before the current one?

Mahindra has said that they are in the process of changing the logo. It will be a completely new design. Looking at the past, the new logo would be available on the upcoming XUV 500. Also, the upcoming Scorpio might become a launchpad for it. Obviously, the other upcoming cars will bear it and Mahindra will eventually do away with the old logo.

Current, the logo of the Mahindra automotive includes an oval-shaped 3 line which eventually forms the letter M. This was announced in 2000 and it first appeared on the Scorpio 2002.

There are no confirm for the Mahindra Logo change from the company. What we think is that the logo change might be to indicate their move towards modern and futuristic products. The new logo might also be a reason for their alliances with Ford.

The upcoming vehicle will look slightly more premium and to go with that flow Mahindra Automotive might opt for a much premium logo. Also Mahindra Automotive is into commercial vehicles and a different logo for the Passenger vehicles section might give their passenger vehicles a differentiating factor.
