The Toyota Innova has become one of the most recognizable MPVs in the market, thanks to its wild popularity. It has remained the King of its segment for a very long time and continues to impress people forever. The first generation of Toyota Innova was so good, that the company was able to sell it for 11 years with minor updates regularly. Recently, some images of the Toyota Innova Crysta with some minor design updates were leaked online.  The internet gives wild access to everything in this world, and this case is a small indicator of it.  These pictures clearly show that the Japanese car manufacturer Toyota known for its reliable machines is all set to introduce the facelift version of the Toyota Innova Crysta. It can also turn out to be a limited-edition anniversary model.

The leaked images show both the front and rear of the MPV.  Some major changes include thicker front grille, with chrome outline, re-positioned LED DRLs, headlamps and more aggressive and stylish front bumper.  The rear photo of the car shows new alloy wheel design on similar sized wheels. Engine and Performance

While it is too early to say anything for sure, the new Innova may not come with any mechanical changes.  The current Toyota Innova Crysta sold in the market comes with a 2.7L petrol or 2.4L Diesel engine.  Transmission options include 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox.

The Toyota Innova Crysta has substantially increased in price, compared to its predecessor. The current-gen Innova costs between Rs.15.66 lakh to Rs. 24.67 lakh.  Toyota also recently launched the all-new Fortuner in the global market. The Toyota Innova can borrow some tricks from its siblings to add a fresh look to the car.  Some online pics also suggest that the car has begun dispatching to dealerships.

Launch and Conclusion

The Innova Crysta facelift is supposed to be launched in Indonesia first.  For India, Toyota is planning to first launch the updated Toyota Fortuner SUV.  The Innova Crysta Facelift will follow soon after.  Approximate launch date will be 2021-22.
