The BS6 Force Gurkha was showcased during the Auto Expo 2020 in February. It came with a BS6 engine and styling tweaks compared to its predecessor. However, the COVID situation has delayed the launch of the car. Find out below about the 2020 BS6 Force Gurkha modification.

Exterior styling

The Force Gurkha 2020 BS6 is already a good looking SUV. Strong sharp lines with iconic boxy design make the car stand out in the market.  The modified Gurkha however takes the style factor of the SUV up by several notches.  The beefed-up design looks as if the normal Gurkha has gone to the gym and transformed.  There is a new Bilstein suspension and big Maxis tires make the SUV look jacked up on steroids.  The new suspension is fully adjustable.

The Force Gurkha is a true competitor to the Mahindra Thar BS6 2020 which was recently launched in India. The normal Gurkha already came with various accessories. But this modified Gurkha has many new tricks up its sleeve.  The ground clearance of this modified SUV is simply mind-boggling.  The military green colour on the exteriors adds to the styling and appeal of the SUV.

The SUV is filled up with off-road accessories on the outside. Ladders, Grilles, luggage carrier, LED lights on the roof and much more interesting stuff make it the boldest off-roader. There are flared wheel-arches and hook points.  There are also jerry cans holders in the rear of the SUV to make you independent of fuel stops. More about Force Gurkha modification in India below.

Interior Styling

Getting inside the SUV is also a three-step process. To see the video for more details.  This is a proper 6-seater SUV with the last row having side-facing seats for younger off-roaders.  The interiors of the SUV have auxiliary switches near the IRVM like an aeroplane. All off-road equipment can be controlled via this command centre.

There is no infotainment system in the SUV. But who listens to music while climbing on a mountain? This is purely made for off-roaders who like to drive and listen to the engine of the car.  There are also knob-like switches for more controls.  Circular AC vents add a retro-modern look to the SUV.
